Solana Beach

Solana Beach is an affluent city in the center of San Diego County.  With a population of just under 13,000, it is one of the smaller cities in San Diego.  The city is approximately 3.6 square miles and is bordered by Cardiff, Del Mar, Rancho Santa Fe, and the Pacific Ocean.

First settled in 1886, Solana Beach began to grow rapidly with the completion of the Lake Hodges Dam in 1918.  This dam created a huge irrigation system that allowed this and nearby cities to ensure that there would be enough water to grow crops and meet human demand.  The city would experience a boom again after World War II when returning soldiers were looking for affordable housing.  It officially incorporated as its own city in 1986.

Not surprisingly, Solana Beach is known for its beautiful beaches.  There are five public beaches in this city, and all of them provide excellent water to surf, swim, or just lie out and get some sun.  All of these beaches have lifeguards on duty during the summer, but only some have them during the winter.  Since it is very easy to be injured in the water, as a Solana Beach personal injury attorney I recommend you only swim when there are lifeguards present.

If beaches aren’t your thing, there is the impressive Cedros Avenue Design District.  Featuring 85 shops spread out over two and a half blocks, there is certain to be something here for everyone.  From restaurants and bars to antique dealers and small boutique stores, this stretch has everything you could possibly want.  There are also several art galleries where a person can go and just look at art work, or perhaps even buy a piece from an up-and-coming local artist.

Law services from a Solana Beach Personal Injury Lawyer

Solana Beach is a great place to live and work, but it can also be dangerous.  If you’ve been injured by the negligence of another party, you may have an injury claim.  A Solana Beach personal injury attorney will listen to the facts surrounding your injury and let you know whether the case is worth pursuing.  If they feel you have a case, they will begin working right away to gather evidence in order to get the biggest settlement possible.

Being injured is hard.  Not only do you have to recover, but you have to deal with pushy insurance adjusters who want to close the file as quickly as possible.  A Solana Beach personal injury can handle the insurance adjuster while you focus on the more important task of getting better.  For a free consultation, call today.
