San Diego Bomb House Suspect Pleads Guilty

Federal lawyers were able to reach a plea agreement with the man accused of creating a bomb factory out of a San Diego North County home. This agreement will hold George Jakubec in prison for a minimum of 30 years.

This plea agreement was to avoid trial on several felony charges. The man admitted being guilty on two counts unrelated to the bomb factory on in San Diego which were carrying a firearm during a bank robbery, and an attempted bank robbery. Both of them stemming from 2009 incidents.

Jakubec Appeared in a US District Court and also a knowledge possessing many volatile and dangerous chemicals, detonators, and other materials used for creating bombs. In exchange for his admissions of guilt, the office of the US attorney was dropping several felony counts related to his activities.
